The prophet Karbod arose in the southern regions of Meron and founded the religion today known as Karbea. Little is known about him personally, although much can be discovered from study of the time in which he lived.
He was born in the mid-south of Meron, the area once ruled by Awar. In the years following Awar's death, however, his lands had split into many miniature kingdoms, which were constantly fighting amongst themselves.
Karbod claimed to have received his first vision from the Creator at the age of ten. He was just fifteen when he established his religion and spearheaded the uniting of the entire region into, once again, one larger kingdom.
The Myrelyrs believed that the power Karbod wielded was a threat to them. They attacked him and though he and his followers fought them off and succeeded in keeping their land, Karbod was killed in the battle at the age of twenty-nine.
