Though Kando was king for eighteen years, he was said to have something wrong with his brain to such a degree that, while he remained king in name, his younger sister (whose name has been lost to the ages) did the ruling for him. It has also been speculated that she gave up her oldest son, who was supposedly stillborn, so that he could claim a son and heir. Certainly it is doubtful that he would have been able to produce a child, and the boy was said to clearly bear the Myrelyris features. What Kando’s wife thought of these rumors will never be known.
