Myrelyr

He built the original Myrelyr Castle, near the site of where the modern version stands today, and from it united a large section of land in central Meron. He then negotiated with and supported four other charismatic leaders of a similar age, who, through his efforts, created their own kingdoms in other parts.

Little is known about Myrelyr beyond these bare facts. Though the Meron coin the yadezha bears his supposed visage, the first star on the Meron flag is for him, and he is revered by all, nothing of the kind of person he was or the life he led remains. It is speculated by many that he was a handsome man with a powerful charisma, to be such a uniting force in the world. Adherents of Karbea claim him as one of their own, while warriors state that he was the greatest fighter Meron has ever known and politicians claim that he was a canny and world-wise fellow.

All of these may well be true, or none of them. What Myrelyr did, however, was solidify a mass of small, squabbling tribes into a miniature empire, and because of this his descendants today sit upon the throne of Meron.
