No Truthful Moment

No Truthful Moment (IN MERONED)
By King Tessar Myrelyris, ca. 380 BM

It is strange how you look at me and I know you do not see. Like a bird soaring past the wrongs of all the world, heedless of how I am, of who I am.

There is no truthful moment when I look at you. There is only the wrong of the world, staring back at me.

I see it.

I wonder if you do.

If you were to take a moment, to pause and gaze back on the life that you have led, would you notice all the wrongdoing you have done and if you did would you seek to right each wrong? Or would you continue on, lacking that truthful moment in which you admitted to yourself the way things really are?

I wonder.
