While he did nothing fantastic and carried the country through no difficult times, Adarel ruled justly and well, in contrast to his carousing son. Many argued that he, like his grandfather, should have a star on the Meron flag, but the zal a dabedo turned him down on the grounds that it would aesthetically imbalance it. It was at that point that the council determined that the flag could not be further altered although an exception was made on some flags for the addition of Adarel’s grandson, Tannock.
