He is chiefly remembered for negotiating an impressive treaty with Etana, wherein it was ordained that trade would now flow freely between Etana and Meron. He must have been a clever man, because the treaty is worded highly in favor of Meron. When the modern treaties were negotiated, Etanan leaders cited it specifically as what they didn’t want this time around.
