Time, for the Meron, is broken up into several ages, spanning 2,806 years and counting:
Dadurab mar (RM) 1442 years
The ‘Lost Age’ between the time when the people first began to count and the year when Myrelyr, Pellatinila, Eveltar, Kinelvar, Awar, and Pinar unified their clans
Dakeba mar (DM): 453 years
The ‘Age of the Tribes’; the years during which the people of Meron gave their allegiance to one of six different clans, and ending with the coup in which the Etanans seized control of Meron.
Zhey mar (ZhM): 129 years
The ‘Dark Age’ during which Meron was ruled by the Etanans. Relatively short, it ended when the Myrelyris family overthrew the Etanans and came to power.
Beyli mar (BM): 760 years
The ‘King’s Age’, encompassing the period between when the Myrelyris’ came to power and when the Etanans were defeated and the Second Etanan War ended.
Brelet mar (LM): present
The ‘Age of the Breleth’, named thus because peace was restored by two young Breleth who successfully defeated the last of the Outsiders.
