The Kwedith are the face of mountain folk. They trade extensively with lowlanders, primarily venturing into the south to hawk their goods. Their culture differs in every way from the Nalaith. The Kwedith are primarily herdsmen, keeping mountain goats, upon which they rely for clothing and food as well as trade. They're believed to speak some more remote form of Meroned, less affected by the Korbeth influences that have otherwise permeated Meroned.
The Kwedith live in Pinar Province, which, although it's considered northern, is a kind of transition space between northern and central Meron. They trade mostly in North, Myrelyr, and Pinar.
